BLOOMINGTON — Peggy Jean Daniels, 80, of Bloomington, Ill., passed away at 6:40 p.m. on June 24, 2009 at her family residence.

Visitation will be held today, Tuesday, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Calvert-Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington, and from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, J. Kent Hickerson officiating. Interment will be at Lisenby Cemetery, Lane, Ill.

Memorials may be made to BroMenn Adult Day Care.

Peggy was born on January 30, 1929 in Danville, Ill., daughter of George H. Foote and Viola M. Powell. She married L.D. “Odell” Bundy in Bloomington. He passed away on May 3, 1999. She later married James Daniels. He also preceded her in death.

Surviving is a son Keith (Sandy) Peterson, Hudson, Ill., and a daughter Lalyia “Taty” (Larry) Ehlers, Bloomington, Ill.

Also surviving are grandchildren Dan Ehlers, Julie Giger, Jenny Cearlock and Christy Sanders, a sister Geneva D. Coil, Mackinaw, Ill. and 10 great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death was a brother Herbert Foote.

The family thanks Peggy’s wonderful doctor Dr. Mehta and the staff of BroMenn Adult Daycare for making her last year and a half wonderful.
