CLINTON — The DeWitt County Board is considering a plan for the aggregation of municipal electricity. The plan would allow an energy management company to represent residents in unincorporated areas of the county to purchase and supply their electricity. The program would ostensibly be able to provide electricity to residents at lower rates than they pay directly to Ameren.
