CLINTON — Members of the DeWitt County Board Thursday concluded they needed clarification about the responsibilities of the company managing the Clinton Lake marina. Board members also decided they needed to determine the county’s responsibilities in regard to the marina.
Board member Terry Hoffman showed other members a draft letter he proposed sending to Greg Forrest, who is under contract to the county to operate the marina. The letter outlined repairs and clean up Hoffman felt Forrest’s employees should perform.
Forrest’s son Jacob Forrest told the board there was only one boat trailer on Exelon property.
“Other than that, there are no boats,” no trailers on Exelon property,” Jacob Forrest said.
