CLINTON — On Tuesday, Illinois State Treasurer Dan Rutherford spoke to members of the Clinton Rotary to promote the state’s I-Cash program in an effort to identify some of the 5,156 DeWitt County residents with $990,450 in unclaimed money or property in the state’s Unclaimed Property Division.
Illinoisans can verify if they have unclaimed property by visiting the treasurer’s website at www.treasurer.il.gov and following the I-Cash link or calling 217-785-6998.
“Not one dime of this expense (running and promoting the I-Cash program) comes out of taxpayer dollars. It is all self-funded.”
