CLINTON — Camille Redman criticized county board chairman Sherrie Brown and some fellow board members Thursday for their recent actions. Redman, however, might not have been certain who deserved the criticism, since board members refused to respond to her questions.
“The Reform Party has sunk to a new low,” Redman said. She was referring to what she considered Brown’s and other board members’ tacit support of recent remarks published in a DeWitt County Constitution editorial suggesting that Judge Garry Bryan’s recent health issues could be affecting his professional judgment. The term “Reform Party” refers to six members who currently have voting control on the board, although there is no formal political party by that name. Some quarters refer to the board members as the “reform coalition.”For the complete article see the 06-07-2013 issue.
