CLINTON — The DeWitt County Board voted on Thursday against paying just over $7,600 in labor costs for repair work performed earlier this year at the Clinton Lake marina.
The vote was close and followed debate about the fact that the board authorized completion of the work after concluding it was the county’s responsibility.
The board examined a list of 17 items earlier this year that needed attention at the marina. The items were included in a letter Forrest sent to the county in February. Forrest asked in April why the county had addressed only two of the items.For the complete article see the 08-13-2013 issue.
