• Clinton City Council members sought more information before deciding to allow the use of normally unlicensed vehicles on city streets. A couple of residents had expressed interest in using golf cart and off-road-type vehicles on Clinton streets. The state allows municipalities to regulate such vehicles on non-state roads.

• The city council approved items associated with the Kleemann Road improvement project. The council approved the low bid from Stark Excavating to perform widening and resurfacing.

• City council members discussed email comments received about the possible use of special vehicles on city streets. Mayor Peters said she felt the council should wait to find out the state’s position on some aspects involved with allowing use of the vehicles.
