CLINTON -- The CJHS boys' track team finished its regular season, competing against Normal Kingsley, Urbana Junior. High and St. Mary's.
The 8th grade tied for first place with Kingsley, while the 7th grade finished in 2nd place behind Kingsley.

CLINTON -- The CJHS girls came out determined on Tuesday night, with the 7th grade girls taking 2nd and the 8th grade girls taking 3rd.

CLINTON -- Coach Randy Anderson hasn't seen worse weather for a girls' track season since he began coaching the team, a sharp contrast from the 2012 season; the best weather he has seen for the athletes.

WARRENSBURG -- Despite a last-minute venue changes because of soggy field conditions, the Clinton Maroons snagged a key "home" victory over the Warrensburg-Latham Cardinals, 1-0 in Warrensburg Friday night.

CLINTON, Each team attending Saturday's Clinton Invitational Softball Tournament were guaranteed two games, which worked out well for the host Lady Maroons who split their games, finishing with a key victory to springboard the squad into a tough stretch of conference games this week.
