FARMER CITY — After a memorable trip to Indianapolis to play in an NBA arena and come away with a 48-23 victory against Shelbyville, Lady Maroons’ head coach Josh Williams expected his team to be fatigued with another game slated less than 24 hours later.
Williams, however, was pleasantly surprised with his team’s effort in topping the Blue Ridge Lady Knights, 66-42, the team’s highest point total of the season.
“We were a little sluggish, but I’m not going to get too upset about that,” Williams said. ”It didn’t seem like it, but we scored the most points we’ve scored all season, so we must have done something right.”For the complete article see the 12-11-2012 issue.
