El PASO — Rebecca Ehresman had 22 points and Codee Schlipf added 14 as the No. 2 El Paso-Gridley Lady Titans edged the Clinton Lady Maroons, 55-52, Monday night in El Paso.
Clinton set the tone early for an up and down basketball game by jumping to a 6-0 lead and leading 9-2, quieting the El Paso fans, but Ehresman’s 8 first quarter points helped El Paso claw back to 13-12 lead after one quarter. The game seesawed back and forth throughout the remainder of the first half, with EPG holding a hard fought 23-20 lead at halftime.
