CLINTON — Thursday night’s Okaw Valley Conference Girls Basketball Championship featured two, top-15 programs, with the higher-ranked Central A&M Lady Raiders topping No. 11-ranked Clinton, 56-39.

The second quarter, however, saw Central A&M step on the gas at both ends, taking advantage of mental miscues by the Lady Maroons in trying to penetrate the Lady Raiders’ defense.
