Sandra Kay Vinson

MACKS CREEK, Mo. — Sandra Kay Vinson, 67, of Macks Creek, Mo., formerly of Clinton, Ill., passed away on June 15, 2012 surrounded by her family at her family residence.

A visitation will be held from noon-2 p.m. on Thursday, at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, at Calvert’s, J. Kent Hickerson officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Kenney, Ill.

Sandra was born on March 29, 1945 in Clinton, daughter of Rollie Fortner and Jewell (Hoge) Fortner. She married Douglas Vinson on July 1, 1967 and then again on November 1, 1988, in Clinton. He survives.

Also surviving are children Brian and his wife Kim, of Linn Creek, Mo., and David Vinson, of Camdenton, Mo.; four grandchildren Andy and Derek Vinson, Tori Williams and Russell Berning; one great- grandchild Caelin Williams, and two sisters Connie Rogers and her husband Ray, of Lincoln, Ill., and Judy Coffey, of Clinton, as well as several other relatives and friends.

Her parents and brother-in-law Chuck Coffey preceded her in death.

Sandra owned her own beauty shop.
