CLINTON — Douglas C. Fleming, 87, of Clinton, Ill., passed away at 2:30 a.m. on December 4, 2012 at Dr. John Warner Hospital, Clinton.
A visitation will not be held. Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, is in charge of arrangements. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Calvert’s, J. Kent Hickerson officiating. Interment will be at Oak Park Cemetery, Clinton.
Memorials may be made to the church camp at Little Galilee Christian Assembly, for families with limited incomes.
Douglas was born on April 23, 1925 in Clayton, Ill., son of Hurley Fleming and Lola Hughs. He married Mary Katherine Wills on July 17, 1948 in Clinton. She passed away on April 17, 2004.
Survivors include children Linda (Stephen) Arteman, Clinton, and Michael Fleming, also of Clinton; four grandchildren Jeremy, Valerie, Shelley and Morgan; a sister Carleen Wheeler, Rochester, Ill, and two great- grandchildren.
His parents and one brother preceded him in death.
He was a member of Lane Christian Church. He retired from General Electric, in Bloomington, Ill., after 25 years of service. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
