CLINTON — Nova Hale, 82, of Clinton, passed away at 10:29 a.m. on April 21, 2013 at Manor Court, Clinton.
A private, family visitation will be held at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Kenney, Ill., the Rev. Joel Dietrich officiating.
Memorials may be made to Christ Lutheran Church preschool.
Nova was born on October 24, 1930 I Clinton, daughter of Charley Scott and Georgia Wheeler. She married S. Harrold Hale on June 17, 1947 in Kenney. He passed away on January 27, 1995.
Survivors include daughter Vellon M. Hale, Clinton; granddaughters Tammy (Powless) Rogers, St. Louis, Mo., and Any (Powless) Robinson, Clinton. Also surviving is a very special niece Leslie Cundiff, who was with Nova throughout her illness; six great- grandchildren and three great- great- grandchildren.
Her parents and 10 brothers and sisters preceded her in death.
Nova loved her family, the center of her life. She also enjoyed gardening.
