CLINTON — Frances Darlene Hoff, 79, of Clinton, Ill., passed away on June 30, 2013 at Liberty Village, Clinton.
A visitation will be held from 1:30-1:45 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home, Highland, Ill. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Highland City Cemetery, Highland, Ill., Pastor Matthew R. Embry, Mosaic Church, officiating. Interment will be at Highland City Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
She was born on February 21, 1934 in Clinton, daughter of John H. and Retha B. (Kizzee) Campbell. She married Ronald V. Hoff. He passed away in 2000.
Survivors include son Jeffrey M. (Julie A.) Hoff, Maroa, Ill.; grandchildren Jeriann Hoff, Maroa, and Jessica Darlene Hoff, Maroa, and great- grandchildren Matthew A. Jett, Maroa, and Makayla A. Jett, Maroa.
Her parents, husband and a sister Maxine Weikle preceded her in death.
She was a member of Harvest Bible Church, Maroa, formerly Maroa Bible Church, and International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, Local 1000, Bloomington. She grew up in Clinton. She graduated from Maroa High School in 1952. She worked as a waitress for several restaurants, retired from Eureka-Williams, Bloomington, in 1996 after 35 years. She was very faithful to her church, attending every Sunday. Darlene loved playing BUNKO; she was a major animal lover, having owned many cats and dogs.
