NORMAL, Ill. — Peyton Matthew Scheuermann, 18, of Normal, Ill., passed away on November 10, 2013 at 3 a.m. in Normal, Ill.
Services will be held on Friday, November 15, 2013 at 11 a.m., with Rev. Larry Gaylord officiating. A visitation was held on Thursday, November 14, 2013 from 4—8 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Normal and will also be held one hour before services on Friday. Interment will follow at East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington, Ill.
Memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, in Peyton’s memory. Calvert & Metzler Memorial home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Peyton was born on December 2, 1994, son of Tim William Scheuermann and Dawn Annette Doe Green.
He is survived by his loving parents, Tim William Scheuermann, Normal, Ill., and Dawn (Tim) Green, New Lenox, Ill.; very special friend, Makayla Gensler, Normal, Ill.; dearly loved brothers and sisters, Taylor Scheuermann, Champaign, IL; Kaci Green, Peoria, Ill.; Abby Green, Normal, Ill.; Brady and Nolan Green, both of New Lenox, Ill.; beloved grandparents, Ted (Jane) Scheuermann, Peoria, Ill.; Donald (Diane) Doe, Toulon, Ill., Peyton shared his December 2 birthday with his grandmother, Diane; Vi Green, Clinton, Ill.; Donn Pierce, Bloomington, Ill.; dear great-grandparents, John (Lois) Turnbull, Elmira, Ill.

Peyton was preceded in death by his grandparents, Margaret Scheuermann; Richard Green; Sandy Pierce; Harold (Edith) Scheuermann; Doris Doe; and his step-mother, Susan Scheuermann.
Peyton loved his mom and dad and his entire family very dearly. He loved his family vacations and was a champion long distance runner in his youth. Peyton would do absolutely anything for his brothers and sisters. His friends loved him dearly as he loved them like they were part of his family.
Peyton could make anybody laugh; he could quote any given movie; he played the toughest defense in basketball; he was a very driven young man that could accomplish anything he set his mind to.
He had a strong love for dogs and was great with animals.
All of his family and friends will remember him by many of his redeeming qualities as a wonderful and loving young man with an enormous heart and striking blue eyes.
