JACKSONVILLE, Ill. — Clyde Ray “C.R.” Mayhugh, 54, of Jacksonville, passed away Friday, Mar. 14, 2014 at the Passavant Memorial Hospital. He was born Oct. 7, 1959, in Laveen, Alaska, the son of Gerald R. and Majoria L. (Shetler) Mayhugh He married Annette K. Evans Aug. 11, 1979 in Clinton, Ill.
Surviving is his wife, Annette of Jacksonville; children, Kyle Mayhugh of Jacksonville and Katybeth (Daniel) Curtis of Long Beach, Calif.; four grandchildren, Patrick Mayhugh, Samuel, Josiah, and Jeremiah Curtis; father and stepmother, G. Ray and Arlona Mayhugh; two sisters; and three half-brothers. His mother, Majoria, and granddaughter Gabriella Curtis preceded him in death.
C.R. was an ordained pastor of the Assembly of God; pastoring at several churches throughout Illinois. He currently attended the Jacksonville Assembly of God and assisted the pastor with the church ministry. C.R. was employed by the Alsey Refractory.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Jacksonville Assembly of God with internment in the Diamond Grove Cemetery in Jacksonville. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4 until 7 p.m. at the church. Memorials are suggested to the Jacksonville Assembly of God.
