CLINTON — Jane Ruth Myers, 88, of Clinton, Ill., passed away at 6:47 p.m. on June 12, 2014 at Farmer City Rehab, Farmer City, Ill.
Friends may call from 1-2 p.m. today, Tuesday, June 17, at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton. Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Calvert’s, Rev. C. Don Ferrill officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton.
Memorials may be sent to the Clinton Presbyterian Church worship and music department.
Jane was born on August 31, 1925 in Clinton, Ill., daughter of Art Gustafson and Jane (Brown) Gustafson. She married Dr. Robert Myers on December 21, 1947 in Clinton. He survives.
Also surviving are sons Stephen (Kathy) Myers, Clinton, and David Myers, Valparaiso, Ind.; and daughter Jan (Greg) Manning, Pleasanton, Calif.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Her parents and sister Mary “Gussie) Lighthall preceded her in death.
Jane was a member of Clinton Presbyterian Church. She was a member of the P.E.O. Chapter B. She loved entertaining and gardening in her yard, especially tending to her flowers.
