COTTONWOOD, Az. – Rita M. Devine, 57, of Cottonwood, Az., died July 9. She was born July 9, 1953 in Bardstown, Kentucky, the daughter of Howard and Geraldine Hornback.

She was a graduate of Clinton Community High School and attended South East Indian University.

She was a member of Unity Church of Cottonwood in Sedona. A lover of animals, she rescued abandoned and mistreated pets.

Rita will be sorely missed by her friends and loving family.

Her parents and two brothers, Jim and Bob preceded her in death.

Rita is survived by her husband of 38 years, Jim; brothers Pat Hornback of Lousiville, Ky.; Joe Hornback (Nova) of Moore, Okla.; Fred Hornback (Vicki) of Bend, Ore. And Tony Hornback of Louisville, Ky, sisters: Dorothy Watson (Gary), Theresa Walker (Bill) and Lona Dennis (Craig), all of Louisville, Ky., Franci Lambert (Chilly) of Bardstown, Ky. And Marion Miller (Chuck) of Eastown, Ky.

Private memorial services will be held.
