Delores Jackson

SPRINGFIELD —Delores Jackson, 78, of Springfield, formerly of Clinton, passed away Monday, November 5, 2012, at Memorial Medical Center.

She was born in Downs, Ill. on November 15, 1933, to Clarence and Ann Rettke.

Delores was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Anthony Jackson, and a son, Mark Anthony Jackson.

She is survived by a daughter, Mary (Bob) Brown of Springfield; four grandchildren, Amanda Bonnett, Ian (Lindzi) Brown, Toni (Joe) Walsh and Neil (Amy) Brown and eight great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday, November 11, 2012, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 3076 Normandy Road, in Springfield, with Paul Williams officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any Kingdom Hall of the donor’s choice.
