Posted: Friday, Nov 9th, 2012

CLINTON — Leaf pick up began in the city on October 22.

“And, the new leaf vac has helped tremendously to accomplish three full cycles in the city since October 22,” said Nan Crang, commissioner of streets and public improvements.

Crang said the city was the furthest along in seasonal leaf pick up it had ever been at this point.

“It’s ahead of last year’s or any other previous year,” Crang said. She said maintenance to city alleyways would begin at about the time the leaf pick up concluded.
