Three more burglaries brings total to eight since September

CLINTON — Three more local businesses reported being burglarized earlier this week, bringing the total to eight the number of break-ins to businesses reported since September.

El Rey and Three Star restaurants were burglarized on November 11, and two days later, on November 13, The Shack reported a break-in to Clinton Police.

Clinton Police chief Mike Reidy said that, while there were also residential burglaries reported during the same period since September, he did not think they were connected to the business burglaries. Businesses in Lincoln and also in Macon County have also been reported.
