CLINTON — David A. Evans, 51, of Clinton, Ill., passed away at 8:35 p.m. on November 19, 2012 at Dr. John Warner Hospital, Clinton.
A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Friday at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Calvert’s, J. Kent Hickerson officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton.
Memorials may be made to his children Devon and Minnie Evans.
David was born on December 21, 1960 in Decatur, Ill., son of Bud Rogers and Donna (Groves) Rogers.
Survivors include fiancé Yolanda Evans, Clinton; son Devon Evans, Clinton; daughter Minnie Evans, Clinton; step- sons Lance Hallowell and Quentin Lackey; brothers Donald (Ame) Rogers; Robert (Vicky) Groves; Dallas Rogers;Alan Carnett, and Robert Payne; sisters Diane Rogers, and Kathy Cottrel; mother-in-law Barb Perkins; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Phillip (Jane) Perkins; Brent (Jane) Cluskey, and Scott (Gail) Perkins and many nieces and nephews.
His parents, his wife Michelle and one brother Rodney preceded him in death.
He enjoyed helping people and detailing cars. He previously owned and operated Lotsa Tots Daycare, with Michelle. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge 593, Clinton.
