MT. PULASKI — The Tri-City boys basketball team committed only eight turnovers and forced 22 as the Tornadoes held off Clinton 40-32 Tuesday night at the Topper Turkey Tournament in Mt. Pulaski.
The Tornadoes had only two turnovers after halftime, while Bryce Paul nailed four triples after intermission on his way to game-high 17 markers.
Colten Reeves had 12 of his 16 tallies in the third period for the Maroons.
Clinton scored the game’s first three points, a Jerrod Hurst free throw and a Reeves bucket at the 5:09 mark, then did not score for over eight minutes as the Tornadoes scored nine points in succession.For the complete article see the 11-27-2012 issue.
