New CHS athletic director, CJHS principal named

CLINTON — On Tuesday night, the Clinton Board of Education named Basketball Coach Chris Gibson as the new athletic director for the district. He replaces Karl Parrish who has tendered his resignation, effective at the end of the school year. Justin Deters, currently a social studies teacher at the junior high was named the new assistant principal there.

The board also approved the 2012 tax levy for $14 million.
