BRAIDWOOD, Ill. — In an event that featured some of the top high school varsity wrestling programs in the state, the rebuilding Clinton Maroons held their own at last weekend’s Reed Custer Tournament in Braidwood. Clinton finishined in the middle of the pack in the team standings, while placing four within the top five of their respective weight classes.
According to head coach Rob Meadors, the team began the day early with a bus ride to Braidwood, causing a bit of a slow start for Clinton’s seven competitors.
