CLINTON — Susan Piatt, 60, of Clinton, Ill., passed away at 12:15 a.m. on February 20, 2013 at her family residence.
A visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. today, Friday, at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton. Private graveside services will be held on Saturday at Oak Park Cemetery, Clinton, J. Kent Hickerson officiating. Interment will be at Oak Park Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Cancer Care Specialists of Central Illinois (CCSCI), Charitable Fund or Second Chance for Pets pet adoption, Clinton.
Susan was born on January 21, 1953 in Clinton, daughter of I.E. “Pete” Kraft and Clara Lee (McAdoo) Kraft. She married John H. Piatt on October 9, 1976 in Clinton. He survives.
Also surviving is one son Jay (Kylie) Piatt, St. Louis, Mo.; mother-in-law Joyce Piatt, Clinton; brother-in-law David (Gail) Piatt, Farmer City, Ill.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Susan was a member of the United Methodist Church, Clinton. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1971 and attended Illinois State University, Normal. She greatly enjoyed her fellow workers and helping her customers during the many years she worked at the First National Bank & Trust Co., Clinton. The family wishes to thank all of our wonderful friends and Dr. James L. Wade III and his staff for their care and support. Susan was a wonderful wife, mother and friend who will be deeply missed.
