CLINTON — The Clinton Tree Commission has announced plans for the city’s annual Arbor Day celebration at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 27 in the 1100 block of East Main Street at Clinton’s city arboretum.
The Arbor Day observances began with 5th grade Arbor Day poster contest winners at the Clinton City Council meeting on Monday, April 15 Mayor Carolyn Peters signed a proclamation declaring Saturday, April 27 Arbor Day in the City of Clinton.
Peters,5 th grade Arbor Day poster contest winners, 3rd and 4th grade student delegate, and members of the Clinton Tree Commission will plant a tree in memory of David L. Herzog and dedicate a tree to Clinton Youth Initiative. For the complete article see the 04-19-2013 issue.
