Board looks to cut new grade school project costs

CLINTON ó While the faces of the Clinton Unit School District Board of Education didnít change, the seating chart did.

Board members elected Rod Wertz president, Tom Pruser as vice president and Nancy Stokowski was re-elected as secretary.

Representatives from the architectural firm Cordogan, Clark and Associates apologized to the board for submitting incorrect budget details on the elementary school project earlier in the month. A new budget was provided on Tuesday and board members were requested to move forward in awarding several construction contracts.
