CLINTON — Following some of the most contentious debate since members took office in December, the DeWitt County Board voted on Thursday to pay a $2,000 bill from Prairie Engineers. But some board members repeated concerns about how the work was authorized.
During the September 5 county board meeting, some board members balked at paying the bill generated by preliminary site work of the planned new animal shelter.
