CLINTON — Judith L. Thomas, 74, of Clinton, Ill., passed away at 11:42 a.m. on October 18, 2013 at Manor Court, Clinton.
Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Calvert’s, J. Kent Hickerson officiating. Interment will be at Oak Park Cemetery, Clinton.
Memorials may be made to the Judith L. Thomas memorial fund.
Judith was born on August 26, 1939 in DeWitt County, Ill., daughter of Willard Daugherty and Georgia Howerton. Judith was raised by Georgia and Richard Woolridge. She married Robert D. Thomas on March 15, 1958 in Clinton. He passed away on May 13, 2003.
Surviving are two sons Robert D. Thomas, Jr., Clinton, and Richard A. Thomas, Clinton; two granddaughters Heather Thomas, Clinton, and Holly Thomas, Clinton; great-grandchildren Riley, Cody, Annalea, Landen, Leo, Joel and Avalynn; brothers and sisters Janice Campbell, DeLand, Ill.; Betty (Essel) Burton, Clinton; William (Beverly) Daugherty, Lincoln, Neb.; and Ray (Marilyn) Woolridge, Leroy, Ill.
Her parents, infant brother and sister, sister Rosemary Johnson and brothers Lester Woolridge, Paul Woolridge, Bob Woolridge, Bill Woolridge, David Woolridge and Jim Woolridge preceded her in death.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Clinton. Judith attended Farmer City schools and graduated from Farmer City High School. She retired from Revere Copper & Brass after 31 years of service and was also an in-home caregiver.
