CLINTON — The DeWitt County Board recently ranked four consulting firms competing to perform repairs and improvements to Clinton Lake marina. After nearly an hour of debate, the straw vote ranking the companies in order split along the usual line that has come to characterize the board.
The board at its October 3 meeting scheduled presentations by the four consulting firms that took place before last week’s straw vote. During the October 3 meeting, some members questioned earlier action to advertise, soliciting interest from firms.
