Exelon and volunteers make new Weldon Springs dock happen

Exelon recently made a donation toward construction of a new ADA-accessible dock at Weldon Springs.

CLINTON Although it took a little longer to complete than anticipated, fisherman at Weldon Springs State Recreation Area this spring will be able to enjoy a new ADA-accessible dock.

Dedicated to the late Dave Herzog, former Weldon Spring site manager, construction of the dock benefited from a group of volunteers, private donations and recently a donation from Exelon/Clinton Power Station.
