DCDC board members Ken Bjelland and Kevin Myers asked the council to help fund the organization at the same level as the previous year at $47,000. The group charged with promoting economic development in the county took a financial hit recently when the DeWitt County Board nearly eliminated its portion of funding to the group. For the complete article see the 02-04-2014 issue.
