CLINTON — Linda L. (Luttrell) Chapman, 72, of Clinton, Ill., passed away at 10:04 a.m. on February 24, 2014 at Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur, Ill.
A visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. on Saturday, March 1 at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Calvert’s, Pastor Chuck Brannock officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton.
Memorials may be made to the Linda Chapman memorial fund.
Linda was born on February 18, 1942 in Chicago, Ill., daughter of Merwin Kenneth Luttrell and Hazel (Hinkle) Luttrell. She married Stan Chapman on January 21, 1972 in Decatur. He passed away on March 15, 2000.
Survivors include her loving and caring companion Paul Strange, of Clinton; children Kenneth E. (Donna) Blankenship, Clinton; two sisters Judie (Roger) Goss, Decatur, and Connie (Ed) Younker, Clinton; two brothers Russell (Margo) Luttrell, LaPlace, Ill., and Don (Rosie) Luttrell, Decatur; four grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Her parents and one niece Marilee Luttrell.
Linda formerly worked at Watkins Jewelry, Clinton and was a co-owner of L&S Woods, Clinton. She enjoyed her family very much and loved woodworking.
