CLINTON — The board of Dr. John Warner Hospital has asked hospital CEO Earl Sheehy to resign at the end of his contract on April 30, Sheehy told the Clinton Journal on Thursday. Sheehy has been Warner CEO for nearly four years.
Hospital board members discussed the decision during a closed session on Monday at the end of its regular monthly meeting, Sheehy said. He said he could not find any indication from meeting minutes that the board ever voted on his dismissal.
A vote taken in closed session would violate state statute under the Illinois Open Meetings Act.For the complete article see the 02-28-2014 issue.
