First-time Expo businesses, promotions help draw visitors

CLINTON — Nearly 60 businesses and organizations participated Wednesday in the annual Clinton Chamber of Commerce Business Expo. The Expo also included some area businesses new to the event.

“It’s good for the Chamber,” Chamber executive director Marian Brisard said of the event. “Everybody in this made us look good.”

Brisard praised the work of everyone involved who helped coordinate the event. She said the school cooperated well in planning the Expo. Brisard paid special compliments to Clinton High School custodian Kenny Eads.

“He was so good to work with,” Brisard said.
