CLINTON — Illinois Republican gubernatorial candidate Bruce Rauner was in Clinton on Friday visiting with county Republicans and Farm Bureau members The DeWitt County Farm Bureau hosted the event.
Rauner made several stops in the area on Friday, including visiting a local manufacturer and hosting a town hall meeting in Pontiac and meeting with business leaders in Bloomington.
Rauner also toured the Clinton Power Station.
“We always try to visit with Farm Bureau members and leaders wherever we go,” Rauner said. “Agriculture is the backbone of the Illinois economy, and I am a big advocate for farm families.”
