CLINTON — Clinton resident Russell Long took the oath of office at Tuesday night’s Clinton Board of Education meeting. Long replaces Tom Pruser who passed away in a work-related accident last June. Board member John Blythe will assume Pruser’s role as the board’s vice president.

Committee assignments included Nancy Stokowski to the building committee and Long to the insurance committee.

Board members reviewed the fiscal year 2014 budget report from the district’s business manager, Lynn Westoff, which Superintendent Jeff Holmes called, “very positive.”
